Treatment

Manual therapy in Crimmitschau

Targeted hands-on techniques for joints and spine, for adults, children and infants. Plus jaw joint treatment (CMD) and the McKenzie method. On prescription.

When a joint will not play along.

Manual therapy works with the hands directly at the joint. I examine which direction of movement is restricted and where the restriction comes from, then mobilise with carefully measured techniques and treat the surrounding muscles. This treatment requires a special additional qualification, which I hold. I also treat infants and children, as well as jaw joints (CMD), and works with the McKenzie method, in which you learn targeted exercises for home.

Common reasons

How a treatment works.

01

Examination

Joint by joint I check which movement is missing and what is limiting it.

02

Mobilisation

Measured hands-on work at the joint, plus treatment of the surrounding muscles.

03

Stabilise

Exercises for home follow, so the mobility you gain stays with you.

Billing

Manual therapy is prescribed separately by a doctor and billed to your health insurer. The statutory co-payment applies unless you are exempt.
